71.54%

It is 265 divided by 370.4 (105.4+265), times 100. This assumes it is the percentage of the total cost, including the delivery.

The number of apples is not relevant.

Simple:

Cost of buying an apple = 105.40/1838 = 0.0573
Cost of delivery per apple = 265.00/1838 = 0.1441

So, total cost of an apple = 0.0573 + 0.1441 = 0.2014
of this cost 0.1441 is towards delivery alone.

Hence, % of cost paid for delivery = 0.1441 x 100 / 0.2014 which comes to 71.549%

I think its 4.24% per apple.

1838 apples / £105.40 = £0.17 per apple.

£265. Del / £0.17 = £1.60 del per apple.

£265. / 100= 2.65 X 1.6 = 4.24.

I think ;-)
