I believe that "Sample's Law" should be put into effect and require those who utilize the internet to have at least a middle-school education. Seeing some of these questions with spelling and grammar errors grinds my gears to a point where I just want to cut off all fiber optic lines to the south and have the internet exclusively used for the people who truly need to inquire/buy or sell/masturbate. This can also cut down on child molesting stalkers, inappropriate content requirements and government funding to control the internet, and still remain cost-effective throughout the country. In conclusion, Sample's Law will require all internet users to obtain an eighth-grade education before jumping into it.

Sorry everyone, but Roy N. Burton hit the nail on the head here. Don't bother answering this one anymore, because the ten points are going to him for sheer brilliance in wording.

You want government workers and elected officials deciding who is an ignoramus and should not be on the net?
So... you're thinking "it takes one to know one"?

You seem to have all the answers, perhaps you should be in some governmental job so that you could keep us all in line. It occurs to me that it is often those in higher political positions that say we should support our country and then turn around and are outraged that there are those that have an opposing position. What the hell is freedom of speach suppose to mean, you can say anything as long as it's what I want to hear. B.S. There are those out there that think that the lies Bill Clinton said about Monica Lewinski were worse morally than the lies G.W. Bush told to start a war in Iraq that has killed thousands. How sad.

That sounds a little like Scrooge suggesting the poor should die and decrease the surplus population. It must be great to be all wise. Did you stop to think it is the ignoramuses in life who need wise council from us? D'oh! Didn't think of that, did you? I understand your gripe about grammar and spelling, but what would you do if everyone were as smart as you. By the way, please give me your credentials.I wonder what certifies you to condemn others of lesser education? How did you determine all ignoramuses are from the south? Is that a law? I must have missed that day in school.

I'd bet at least 3/4s of the people who use Yahoo Answers have at least an eighth grade education.

No. If you get the government involved you will have ignoramuses running the internet. That could spell disaster for the internet.

You underestimate Government...they welcome ignorants and smarts just to get information of any each of us....That is a field of Wonder to them, where they are harvesting....By the way in relation to the Truth which is unknown , Truth which Governed Universe and Life itself, do you consider yourself Being all-knowing God? Every one, including those which you judge as ignorants know what they know and not beyond of it...But thank you for your warm concern with a financial budget for your Country...

I hate stupidity and vileness as much as the next person. However, the last thing we need is yet more government intervention. What a hideous proposal.
