I am 21 just got married 6 months ago and i just do not have any sex drive what so ever. Its not that its not good its just that i just do not want to do it ever! Are there any pills or suggestions as to what has worked for you or anything you have done to try to increase your libido? Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

Just wait until you turn 30- your husband will be begging for mercy. It is not unusual to lose your libido in your early twenties. It is a cruel act of mother nature. I would not go to the extreme of taking anything - Just use this time as a chance to explore and see what your body reacts to. There are many wonderful books on the subject of women's sexuality that may help you out. Barnes and Noble is a good source either in store or on the web.

I could be wrong but I have heard of this before. Now that your married, the courtship and romance are "over" This is the coming down part after the huge build up to the wedding. Think about it: you date, you become intimate, then engaged, the wedding, then what? This is not a physical thing as much as it is a mental thing. Try reestablishing the dating feeling with your husband. Don't see each other all day and then meet him at a restaurant or club. Flirt and kiss like it's new, and see what happens. I can almost guarantee it'll work. This should be a wonderful oppurtunity for you and your husband to explore each other and try new things as well as freshen up on the old. Good luck honey and just relax and enjoy.

Hey! First a couple of things:

1) If you are on any medications, that might affect it. Talk to your doctor if you are.

2) Are you stressed out? Try to find things to calm you down. Stress can really affect it!

3) Have you had any trauma in your past? If you experienced any type of sexual trauma, this will affect it enormously! See a counselor to work through the issues.

4) Are you too busy? Slow down and find some quiet time.

Also, it is normal for your sex drive to be less than your husbands. Men's drive peaks from 18-24, while women tend to peak in their mid to late 30s.

If there are no problems, see a sex therapist, who might help you learn some ways to get into it.

Good luck

You didn't say whether you were sexually experienced prior to marriage. Nor did you mention whether or not you'd started using hormonal BC since being married.

If you were a virgin, this could be normal... you don't know what your sex drive is going to be like till you start having sex. It will also fluctuate throughout your life (women in their late 30's for example, have higher sex drives than younger women).

BC pills and other hormone contraceptives can have a huge impact on your sex drive as well. If this is the case, talk to your doctor about changing your method.

If you think there's something odd, go see your doctor...it's YOUR body and YOU know it best.

When you walk down the aisle, your LIBIDO walks the opposite direction (out the door)

Seriously, it is not an uncommon occurence, if you think that their might be a physical/hormonal problem, see a doctor.

See your doctor. You are too young to have problems with your sex drive. Unless there is an undermining cause that you have not been telling anyone. So, see a doctor and tell him if you have had any traumatic experiences. Because that could cause it

Daydream. Think of your favorite love or romance scene from a TV show, book, or movie. Picture yourself and your husband as the characters, and then reinact it in real life.

Also, be surprising! Whenever you do feel the mood, just jump him. Seriously, you'll both love it.

Don't worry it's normal. It's what happens when a guy puts a ring on a girl's finger
