What did you think of this movie?
Are you going to do anything to help end the climate crisis?

I thought it was absolutely amazing, regardless of mentioning some of Gore's personal issues like his son, etc. The graphs and pictures of river/landmass changes were really moving.

This isn't about posting what you think about Al Gore, global warming is real, and a real current issue also. Don't start some stupid complaint about how much you dislike Al Gore, blahblahblah, nobody cares, ok. :] Serious answers only, please.

Jim, I understand what you're saying, and I appreciate your answer. What I MEAN is that I want some genuine responses to the topic, relating to global warming or the movie itself, instead of their direct opinion of Al Gore as a person. Even though he's a part of the movie, it's a bit irrelevant to the actual topic. It's like when someone answers a serious question on here with "i don't know". What's the point of that? Aside from two points, it's just not beneficial, lol.

I thought it was great. We watched it with friends and spent quite a bit of time talking about it afterwards. We are pretty good at trying to do what we can today (recycle, etc.), but plan on trying to kick it up a notch personally. We also have been talking about it to any of our friends/families/coworkers that will listen. The more people that hear it and take some kind of action, however small, the more impact we can all make.

Totally aside from how bleak the future looks if we don't do something, I think it's worth mentioning that all of us (even the ones that didn't care for him before) were very impressed with Gore. I'm NOT saying he's great, nor am I saying anything negative about him. I just think that it's worth noting that this is NOT the same Al Gore that everyone is used to seeing. He came across as very dynamic and as a different persona that the one that we seemed to see every day during his political career.

I think that this movie is very factual and I think it was a very moving and important movie. I think everyone should see the movie and become informed. However I dont think its fair of you to pose a question and then regulate how people can answer the question. the unfortunate thing is this issue is a human and a global and a political issue. So everyone has a right to chime in on whatever part of the issue they see fit. You may not want to hear that part of someone's opinion, but please don't put people in a box. It's not fair and it's not what these forums are all about. If you can't handle that, than don't post questions.
I know that's not what you want to hear, but censorship and the many forms of censorship are important too.

really you should do some research on your own before you just take what spotted al bore spoon feeds you. there is no global warming. check the experts, how do we know what the weather cycle of the earth is if we have only been keeping track for 112 years. we don't. al is trying his hand at the white house again. if he cared so much about global warming, why didn't he do anything about it when he was the vice president.

I think global warming is inevitable and if you are a true christian then you should feel that way too since all christians feel that things will get alot worse just before Christ comes back.
Nothing can be done about it so just live with it, will ya.
