OK in the UK if the trike is devised from a motorcycle without reverse driven gear the it's m/c licence

If it's derived from a car then it's car licence

The problem arise when it's a mix of both. Typically it maybe a bike engine linked to a semi or auto gearbox from a car and suspension from another source. This is where I would suggest where advise is obtained in writing from VOSA and DVLA. These are the people who we pay to ultimately know the correct answers to these questions

I would advise that you get it in writing

Good luck

ohio law consider's trikes 3 wheeled motorcycles, and u have to pass an on-cycle test to get the endorsement just like regular bikes. difference is, the endorsement will say '3 wheeled motorcycle'. in ohio, if u pass the test on a trike, but dont already have an endorsement for a 2 wheeled bike, u are only legal for trikes, and it will say so on the license. to be legal for 2 wheelers, u have to pass the test for it.
transmission type---weather auto or standard, doesnt matter, it's still a 3 wheeled motorcycle. btw, a trike handles much different than a regular bike...way different.

If you're in the UK you would be best to contact an organisation called NABD as they sort out trikes for disabled bikers and I'm sure will have the info you need

In the U.K., having either a full car licence (Class B) or a full motorcycle licence (Class A) will entitle you to drive a trike (Class B1).

Depends what year you got your license. I think 96 was the cutoff. After that, trikes got there own category and were not included in the standard bike license. I think its cat B1. Can't remember offhand. Check the DVLA site.

To my knowledge in all states you are required to have a motorcycle license to operate a "Trike " as it is considered a motorcycle not a car.

I do not think anyone can fairly answer this question without know where you are. Every country is going to have it's own laws regarding how they treat trikes.

It varies, apparently.
In New Hampshire you must have a motorcycle only license or a motorcycle endorsment to your regular license. NH considers 3 wheel vehicles to be motorcycles.

I live in NH.
I read the RSAs.
