Spending time with your partner is a want, not a need. Talking to your partner is a want not a need. Feeling your partner cares about you is a want not a need. But if your wants are not being close to met and your partner is unwilling to make an effort to satisfy them, you need to get rid of them.

A tent could work for shelter in place of a house or apartment.
Out house or a bush in place of a bathroom.
Public transportation in place of a car. Heck why not just walk.
Why new clothes? Come to think about it clothes are wants too.
Sex feels good and giving that feeling of pleasure to someone else is seen is giving part of yourself to the person. You are the one causing the pleasure not some lube/jell/machine. If you hold back sex you hold back yourself from the one you say you love.
You are right sex is a want as is so much in this world. It seems to me that those who don't want to give the gift of sex just don't want to give the gift of themselves and thus are the ones who are loveless because loving is giving.

I had always thought this was a 'guy trick' or something, but the other day a medical professional actually explained to me that yes, men do need to have a 'release' on a fairly regular basis. He didn't tell me what consequence there is for the guy if he doesn't have a release, but apparently they do need to have them. But sex/intercourse isn't required for a release... there ARE other ways...

The sex drive in men is the 3rd strongest biological right after breathing and eating. It really is. Also, when men get older it is a matter of survival. The prostate does one thing - it provides seminal fluid for the sperm. When there is no more need for it - no use for any more sperm - then it goes cancerous and you die. All men will die with prostate cancer or because of it. No matter how much you yell it is a need for men.
