i mean i couldn't care less this story is getting way too much tv coverage and i'm fed up of hearing about it and dont tell me to change the channel cos its on almost every sports or news channel
but i guess it shows everyone how much of a superstar celebrity he is

People like Beckham or any other athlete or celebrity only get that much attention because so many people are willing to keep paying more and more to watch them. Tickets and concessions for games, movies, concerts are getting too high for many people to attend, yet we still do. If there were ever a boycott of sports or movies for a month or two, these outrageous salaries might stop. The teams paying them are never really out that money -- they get it right back from the fans -- either through tickets or through advertising, whic raises prices on everything we buy.

This story is no more overdone than any other sport or celebrity story. At least this one is about something other than who was out partying with whom, wearing no underwaer, or running from the papparazi. Unlike Paris Hilton, Beckham at least worked hard for many yeras for his fame. If it helps soccer gain popularity in the US so it can catch up to the rest of the world, more power to it. At least many people are now aware that soccer can command salaries on a level with all the other overpaid sports stars.

In America we have a saying, "Soccer is the sport of the future and always will be." They are taking a big gamble that the will breath life into the dying Soccer leagues here in the States. The publicity only makes me laugh; he is laughing all the way to the bank.

Unbelievable isn't it? these people are so unimportant, it's just begs belief. Who cares???? Who buys into this stuff anyway? I actually find Victoria Beckham more of an offence than her husband. Here's a woman that despite not really being able to sing...has made a fortune from it. Despite not being particularly good looking...is making a fortune from the way she looks etc etc
at least her husband can do something.

Real superstars don't go into semi retirement at 31.Never mind what Posh thinks you could live to regret this one Becks.Just think how much esteem and respect someone like Teddy Sheringham comands.

SICK! yes!fed up and tired of hearing about him and his twiglet wife whos pout gets worse as each year goes by.Ifact it wouldnt be so bad but her mutt is on every photo you see of him in the news,have they been attached together?I think hes bled himself dry and gone over the line as i didnt mind a bit of D.B now and then in the news,now its same old same old!
