No problem with ordinary T Cut!
But, you can now buy a newer less abrasive T Cut that is colour coded to the main car colours! Red, Blue, White, Black, Green, Yellow!
If you use ordinary T Cut, have a spray bottle of water with you and spray the car with water first! Then T Cut and wipe off! Wash the car as soon as done with plenty of proper car wash shampoo and polish!
T Cut on white can 'yellow' the paint if left too long and the other thing to consider is most modern cars are coated in the final painting, with clear laquer. So all you will be doing is removing the laquer.

You can T-cut any colour car, but you must have a special kind for metallic. And you MUST wax the area you applied the T-cut to, or the rain will wash off the protection on the paint, and you'll get rust.

No t-cut is Ok but do not use the colour coordinated type because if you have to have the area fixed after an accident it is very difficult to rematch the colour, even white.

No course not a good T- cut or compounding will remove small scratches etc., then a good wax polish ,but you have to keep it polished as the T- cut will take you down to virgin paint,,John Boy.
