I think Selena was one of the most beautiful, talented, and again...beautiful in mind and her heart. I mean...she had compassion..true compassion....in fact she was the definition of compassion since she didn't want to sue Yolanda Saldívar (Selena's Killer) even though she stole thousands of $ from the singers accounts....she just wanted to fire her. YET this Bi*** Yolanda still decided to shoot and kill her????? come on

BUT WHAT GETS ME MAD...is that I believe that Selena's family is taking advantage of the death of Selena for profit especially the father. Don't get me wrong, Selena's memory will forever be remembered by her albums and her spirit...BUT I AS A FATHER WOULD never request or advertise with the intent to receive money for myself....even if I did I would give it away to charity or something like that...BUT NOT GAIN PERSONAL PROFIT...it feel horrible.

Especially her family who’s in the music business use Selena’s death as a marketing tool…that is disgusting. I think it’s a slap on Selena’s wonderful and kind memory….this is something I believe Selena would not do if she were still alive. She would let her loved one rest in peace rather then use someone’s death for personal profit.

hmm.. seems to me it was more important to the family to get the story OUT THERE.... tha'ts why he had the movie made.. so that people knew what a great person she was as well as talented singer, dancer, designer, etc....

ever since then, i haven't even heard of a selene memory cd or whatever to "capitalize" on her death.. i dunno, maybe i don't know much about it but i think the father loved her very much and saw her as someone who would go far in the music business (as his own career busted early on), and just feels that she could've been even huger had she been allowed to stay alive and continue making music...

I absolutely agree with you. It is disgusting how they continue to use her image and death to get compassion from her loyal fans in order to sell their music and products. They should just let her rest in peace.
