The bed on my Sims 2 game says that the item is in use even though none of my characters are using it. How do I get it out of use?

Grr I hate when that happens too... The only way I can think of is to use the "moveobjects_on" cheat (hold down Ctrl+Shift and tap "C" to get the text box up, type in the cheat, hit enter). Once activated, you can go into buy mode and sell the bed and then buy another one. To turn the cheat back off, get the cheat box back up, type "moveobjects_off", hit enter, and if the box is still up, simply enter "exit". Hope this helps. =)

ok there might be a cheat that could help you . first bring out the cheat screen and put in "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" next press Shift and click on the bed and select "force error" a screen well come up with cancel, reset, or delete. Pick reset , this should hopefully help you

Use the move_objects on cheat. If that's a door stuck open, you've to flow a mushy fixture, i have had this project with houses that got here with the game. They placed putting or in ceiling lights in the tile next to the door (interior or outdoors) and the stupid door receives stuck open. i wager the gentle interferes with the swing of the door.

use the cheat moveobjects_on then you can get rid of the bed.
