If they call to set up a job interview with you, isn't okay to set it up for the same day? Like, "I can come in later today." Or do you schedule it for the next day?
Also, if they call you on Friday, do you schedule it for the same day or wait until Monday? Thanks.

I have. No need to sound desperate like "oh can i come in today then?" all quick and stuff. I usually go hmmm....like im thinking about it and then i go "well i could actually come in today, if you have the time" like its no big deal or whatever. I don't think thats incorrect.

first ask when they are doing interviews. I prefer waiting til the next day just to give myself time to make sure I am properly prepared.

scheduling it as soon as possible shows the employer that you are really interested in the job and that you are eager to meet your potential employers
