Has anyone or is anyone takeing YAZ birth control for PMS? My OBGYN gave it to me bec of my bad PMS. I dont need it for birth control I have been fixed after my 3 kids :) I have terrible PMS. I get depressed and angry and moody. I dont want sex or to be touched. I only have 1 good week a month of feeling normal and happy. Then one week I have my period and the other 2 weeks I am a nightmare. Has anyone else had this and what did you do to help it. If you take YAZ did it work? Or did you do or take anything else for it?

Yea i take medication but for different kinds of reason. number #one i take serquel for me not to go off on nobody. #two i take zoloft for mood swings. #three triletical is to make me calm down.

i am on yaz for birth control. i have never heard of it being prescribed for pms. i have been on it for about 4 months now, and my pms has been worse.

BCPs have never been approved for uses other than contraception. I think it is irresponsible for doctors to prescribe it for any other use.

I did once... I was really drunk and my girlfriend gave it to me then told me afterwards... said she was getting even for all my blonde and pms jokes...
