Divide the circumference by pi i.e. 22/7 or 3.14 to get the diameter. Because the formula for finding circumference:
2*pi*r. 2*r = diameter. So pi*d = circumference.
But given the circumference, to find the diameter, c/pi is the way. I hope this is clear to you.

Circumference = Pi * diameter
Therefore Diameter = Circ / Pi
So take the Circ, and divide it by 3.141519

circumference = C = 2. Ï . R
Where "R" is the radius of the circle.
Diameter is 2 x R ---------> D = 2R --------> R = D/2
Then, C = 2. Ï . (D/2) --------> D = (C / Ï)

C(ircumfrence) = 2 * pi * R(adius)
C / (2 * pi) = R
Once you have calculated that, then:
Diameter = 2 * R
