I am currently going to college in FL and I am constantly getting tiny little ants in my room. I've tried ant traps and ant spray but the problem still continues. Is there anything else I can try?

See where they are coming in. If you see they are coming in through a little crack, put some liquid dishwashing soap in there. They get stuck in it and die and then can't get back through. If you do it just right, there will be no mess :)

Yes. My house gets invaded every now and then in the kitchen.

Don't squash them.

I bought a product called Ant-B-Gon. Its a tiny white plastic bottle with a red cap and a dirty huge black ant on the label - you can't miss it. Home Depot I believe. (I am in Canada)

This may sound silly but works well, first follow one or two ants to see exactly where they are entering from. Very important.

Next, follow the label directions, i.e., place a few drops just around the entry location. If you have a mass invasion throughout your room, you can sweep, vac, - whatever but leave the little buggers that are around their doorway.

The ants will take the food to their nest within a few days, they will be in ant heaven. Repeat as necessary.

This really works. Main ingredient is borax. I have had the same bottle for about 3 years. I also use it in the garden when I come across a nest of fire ants. I sincerely hope you don't have this species.

May I suggest you do not use any type of spray indoors, chances are this may get into your lungs, nose, mouth too.

Cheers!

Sprays are bad for bugs, therefore, bad for us.

Soap, vinegar, dryer sheets and such are good temporary fixes. If you want a permanent fix, spend a little time and a little bit of money and buy some caulking (like for the bathtub) and use it around the edges of the floor because that is usually how the ants get in. You can try toothpaste too to close the holes where they came out.

Start on the outside and work your way in. If you can find the mound, there are alot of products available to destroy it. Next, find the spot where they are entering the building. If they are fireants they will always try to get out of wet ground areas, and they always find a way in. Seal up whatever holes you find with caulk. Also make sure to keep your room clean. Ants are looking for an abundant food source, so don't leave food lying open, or dirty dishes around.

baby powder with talc will make the ants go away. They go else the position to die. some smother interior the powder. This works on tiny ants. A dry cereal like maltomeal, grits, wheat bran or corn meal. in the journey that they don't take it to commence with, upload particularly sugar. It takes a at the same time as for them to carry this away. They swell up when they eat this.

Ants become a nuisance when they enter homes. Instead of spending money on costly pest control, you can get rid of ants by removing the food source and using soap water.
