Damn dude, you don't need me to tell you that you are inbetween a rock and a hard spot. ya know, two years ago I was bouncing around from house to house and living in my car and life was a b*tch. I met some one and got a single wide trailor here in MO, and now I have a beutiful daughter and a wonderful fionce and still get stressed. And when I do I see some other peoples situations and say at least I have what I have, and deal with it. I know you might lose one valuable asset, your house probably, but there is nothing you can do about that. You will have to downsize. Ya know how you think your biggest fear is losing your children??? Thier biggest fear is losing you. Keep that in mind. Even if you are in a Sh*tty situation, try and keep control of it. If you are falling down a mountain at least try and fall on your *ss so you don't get hurt worse and you can control your fall. thats all you can do is control your fall. Live has a way of getting better after you hit rock bottom, all you have to do is survive it.

The key word here is "family." What are they doing to pitch in. While this may seem like the end of your world, the Bible says, "When one door closes, another opens." You should call your creditors and ask them what kind of arrangements can be made until you get another job. What kind of equity do you have in the house. Can you get a home equity line to consolidate your bills and pay off the cards and cars. Sell the T.A. You may have to sell your house. What is your passion. Can you start your own business and thus not have to worry about this again.

i think a large % of britains population has been in your shoes some time or another... it takes a lot to get used to not having what you once had.. what you will have to do is think very carefully and streamline your life. get rid of the cars and if you have to sell the house as on todays market you will get a very good price for it... start tonight lol get drunk and put everything on ebay... except the family that is.. with the proceeds be very stingy and tight and get a cheap house that you an your family can squeeze into im sure it will be fun in some ways ang get a cheap runabout car then slowly get back on your feet and i bet in the end it makes you a better person and you and your family will be closer than ever. the key thing is be open and honest with your family put everything on the table and they will understand and i bet chip in as well. GOOD LUCK.

I know it is hard. I lost my job at the end of Oct. with no unemployment. I sold some household items on ebay...can you do that? Or sell household items in the paper? I borrowed a lot of money from my siblings. Do you have family you can ask for help? Right now I am trying the St. Jude's Novena prayer. You say it for 9 days. St. Jude is the patron saint of hopeless causes.http://www.stjudenovena.org/prayingthenovena.html If you lost everything, you would still have your family. People in New Orleans lost everything, but still they held on. It is not easy to contemplate. It is not easy to find a job this time of year and it is hard to find hope and hold on.......I will say a prayer for you and your family....Please hold on to hope...

Having experienced the loss of job, home, family etc. I can say that going on a debt diet is a good way to get an upper hand. If you really look at all you have you realize some of it is just not needed.
Simplify,
Blessings, & Good Luck To You and Your Family

If they don't then disregard this answer.

Your insurance probably wont pay if its not a true accident. Your family will be poor AND heartbroken. You probably know this so although you make it sound like you are trying to sacrifice for them, youre really just trying to escape responsibility. This is completely normal, but its ok to go through hard times, especially when you have people around you who care about you. Be strong for your family. I promise things will get better eventually.

I am in the process of lossing everything I worked so hard for because of medical problems. i am fighting to , so should you. Giving up because you can't afford material pocessions is not the choice. Keep looking for a job, besides life insurance policies do not cash out for suicide so it would not accomplish anything but bring your family pain. Keep fighting, your family would appreciate it more.

If some one were to tell you there is light outside of that well your in?
Life comes achya fast, and you can't stop it or slow it down, all you can do is let it hit ya, and try and find your legs.
But without this hardship, do you think you would know what TRUE happieness is, with nothing to compare it to.
Please don't fret, I can see some sun comming up over that horizon.
