My personal opinion is that you can be sick and tired of hearing about him, but that's not his problem. He's not the one putting stories about him out there for you to read and see on TV.
If anything you should be fed up with the combined lack of imagination and creativity of the media to come up with new stories and the witch-hunt/scape-goat mentality of commissioner Bud Selig who wants to keep Bonds' name in the news as a villain as long as he can because it makes him look like a commish who is trying to change things for the better.
I know some of the Bonds' stuff gets old, but if the media would just quite digging up every story and making it the top story for the next three weeks anytime they get a piece of dirt on him it wouldn't be an issue.
If this crap happened to Bobby Abreu (just picking at random) and he was the one that the media brought up all the time, everyone would be just as sick of him.
It's not Bonds fault that he's in the news, it's the media's fault for making every little thing he does into a big media circus. At this point in his career I'd say everyone is just better off if they get off his back, let him break the record and then retire and finally it will all go away and the media can move on to harrassing A-Rod for the errors he's made down at 3B or Randy Johnson for not smiling enough or whomever they need to harrass until they find another scandal.

Couldn't agree more! Barry could have easily become a guaranteed first ballot HOF guy without the steroids, but he become arrogant and greedy. Now he's a lair, a cheater ( baseball, marriage and taxes) not to mention, a complete idiot. I hope he gets convicted of both lyiing to the Grand Jury and for tax evasion. His records now are essentially meaingless and like TO these ongoing antics and excuses are just plain Bor-ing!

I would agree. I think the most aggravating thing that he tells everyone is that he is a black man and is persecuted. I feel that he is a person that had a god given ability and would have made the hall of fame with that ability. He changed what god gave him and he wonders why people don't like him.

To me, Barry Bonds is the most selfish and stubborn person to ever wear a MLB uniform. All he does is bring attention to himself and Giants fans are more worried about him then they are there team winning.

I think most baseball fans are sick to death listening endless stories about him. He's got an oversized ego, to go along with his steroid filled body. I hope like hell he doesn't break Hank Aaron's homerun total this year or any other year. The last thing the commissioner wants to do is praise him for his "accomplishment".

I am. He is bringing a great sport into disrepute. Yet he never seems to suffer. In fact Mcguire is suffering more for doing less. Baseball is becoming full of people with double standards.

Guy needs to retire. Im pretty sure everyone is sick of him. And with that Amphetimines thing going on, and Bonds blaming his own teammate..... Just move him to Canada or something, let them deal with him.

bary bonds = a ghey loser. he should still be inducted in the hall of fame when he gets the chance for the fact that he really is one of the greatest players ever. but still that doesn't take from the fact that hes a loser.
