What is this...a major PR stunt?
Madonna wants us to adopt more babies from Africa...Oprah gave up on inner city youth(and opened a school where "whites are not welcome"). I say Oprah has enough of her OWN issues needing to have her stomach stapled so she could "control" herself to eat right instead of addressing the real problem, just like she dissed inner city youth(who claimed IPODs were what they "needed")
If as a nation, we can't take care of our own people...homeless(lot's of vet's too who put their hide on the line for this country), what use is it to find the path of least resistence(and the biggest hoopla in the media). The worlds BIGGEST problem is expotential population growth...we are our own worst enemy.
None of these people provide ANY moral compass how one should live their life.
When giving, you don't and should not be trumpeting what you are doing...God knows your intentions.

Never have truer words been spoken, I totally agree with everything you say here.
Who is Oprah to tell anyone how to live, if we all recall, about a year and a half ago she was recorded throwing a temper tantrum and totally degrading a worker in a store because she was not permitted access to the store when it was already closed. She said to this person "I am Oprah Winfrey, you can't do this to me! Do you know who i am?" Well now we do know who you are, you are a self righteous, pompous ***, no different than any other celebrity, so you can stop telling us how to live our lives now.
As for Madonna, what a hero she is! She really wants to help poeple, she just doesn't want to be inconvenienced with paperwork. So instead, she makes sure all the camera's are following and she goes to a country in Africa where you can basically just walk out with a baby no questions asked. How noble of her to overlook the people in her own country who need help, just to avoid a little bit of work.
they can both go to hell for all I care, and they can take all their no good celeb freinds with them.

The only one misguided is you. GOD doesn't just want America children to be helped, he wants us to help all of his children.
Kudos to Madonna and Oprah. At least they are trying to make a difference, better then some of you sitting around complaining acting as you are the moral authority on what GOD Wants.
American children are spoiled and over indulged, so much so our school have become war zones. Ever hear of a child in a third world country bringing a gun to school and shooting their teachers and classmates....of course not. They value their education way too much....
If I had forty million, I would build a school in Guatemala. America doesn't need another multi-million dollar school. We need our children to value the blessings they receive.

Its obtrusive to me. both were abuse by technique of adult males some way of their existence. Oprah has admitted it, and that i'm not confident about Madonna. Which contains the precedence I see usual. a majority of those women are abuse by technique of those sorts of predators available (as instructed by technique of girls). yet many don't search for treatment or help. they don't manage this and imagine time will heal it. Then those similar women at the same time as older ***** that its something incorrect with adult adult males in immediately's society. Do they not see themselves and their issues that by no skill replaced into addressed? The habit of them is so predictable. those 2 are suitable examples. Now take a higher seem in any respect the girls available that been via similar. scary image isn't it?

BOTH, also in danger of being charged with child endangerment or child neglect, it is wrong to leave a 9 yr old to baby-sit, they aren't mature enough, per Department of Children and Family Serveces, to babtsit the older child needs to be at least 14. And Madona stated on an interview on National Television one of the high points is she could use her older daughter to babysit.

before you help someone else, first help yourself.
Applies to the problem of homelessness and orphans as well, even on a national level.
Besides, those countries are so corrupt, it would take 10x the effort to equal the same change here.

Sounds like you are the one who is misguided. I think it's funny how you dare mention GOD knows of their intentions and here you are worshipping celebrities. You should know better. I have yet to see a celebrity set a "moral" example. The problem is instead of complaining what other people are doing, you need to get out there and help with the problem. If you see someone hungry, feed them. If you see someone cold, give them clothes. In otherwords, stop worrying about everyone else and do what GOD expects from us. Thank you and GOD bless.

these rich women are so out of touch with the real world it is ridiculous. i saw oprah on tv a couple of weeks ago trying to put gas in her car. she couldn't figure it out. a stranger had to show her how to do it.
