when i go to add or remove the program will only remove some of it it says failed.how
do i get rid of it

Usually that means that either part of the program was deleted before the install was run, so it can not find all the files to remove them. In that case you may have to reinstall the program (to get all the files there) and then uninstall it.

Or it means that while you were using the program, it created one or more files (usually same kind of configuration information) that are not on the list of files to uninstall. So when it gets done uninstalling everything, it can not delete the directory becasue there is a file (or two) still in it. Go to the directory in which the program was installed, and if there is only a file or two left, just dlete them (and the directory).

Hopefully one of those two will fix it for you. If not, repost with the name of the program. It may be an issue unique to that program.

usually if you cant remove the program it,s because its running,if you see the icon for the program in the lower right corner of the screen ,right click and exit,then uninstall, if u don,t see it use msconfig or a free program called mike links start up control to shut it down , restart comp, then remove

it is not easy you need the CD of the program you want to remove go to setup and select modify (or repair) and then re (remove) it ,and I hope it will

Try to use the original software install cd. It may have a way to uninstall.
