I'm not sure. SoapNet replayed some early episodes for the big anny. celebration a couple of years ago.
RE: Shawn - Jason Cook - I'm not sure, but I read that Mimi (Farah Fath) is leaving, too & I don't know HOW she could be recast. (I just read that she's not...) Madison has grown on me as the new Belle, MUCH better than that girl who first tried to replace Kirsten. I read an article on Jason leaving, but didn't learn much...

I have been watching Days, then One Life to Live, then General Hospital in that order since I was 2 and my grandma used to watch me. I may only catch one a week now that I am older and there are phases where I won't watch any for months but I always some back from time to time even if only for 30 seconds.
I agree competely about the Shawn Douglas that is on now. I am still trying to get used to this Belle, i really don't care much for her but theuy have really ruined it now with this jackass.

I know you can get daily or weekly recaps on the website and they play on Soap Network at midnight and have a weekly recap on Sunday nights. I forget what time they start. I watch Days (I was named after Marlena) and Passions. Passions however has been getting a little out of control with the witch and everything. I also hate the new Shawn he is way to skinny.

It's my favorite too! You can see clips of shows on the Days website on nbc.com. There are also some clips on youtube, but I don't know about full episodes. Do a google search for dustin's days page. There's lots of good info on that.
I have no idea where the real Shawn D went. All I can say for sure is that I miss him.

Shawn wanted to pursue other interests. A lot of them leave to try something better & bigger. Sometimes they come back. Keep your fingers crossed.
You might try their website for earlier episodes.

Jason Cook has turned his attentions to writing and directing films, recently making the indie film Social Security Guard, starring his former Days of Our Lives co-star, John Ingle.
There is a list of storylines (by decade) here

Some fan sites may go into more detail
