When I was getting my MLS this is how I put it:

Masters of Library Science, SUNY University at Buffalo - completion May 2007

You can also use the words "graduating", "obtaining" or "acquiring" in place of completion. You should absolutely put that you are getting the degree or you will NOT get a job in the field you are specializing. If is not the field you are studying still put it on because it shows that you have education. Good luck!

I would add it to the resume and just say something like you plan to graduate on this date with this degree.

put down any degree's you already have, and at the bottom, list the date you will achieve your new degree
