1. IQ is independent of age. An IQ of 100 is by definition average. You're average.
2. In my experience, IQ tests are inconsistent. I have tested anywhere from 93 to 153. So, don't fret about your score.
3. You can exercise your mind with math and vocabulary, and by solving the puzzles on mental puzzle sites. A game that Mensa members like is the game of SET -- it's a card game, which helps you practice pattern recognition.

The whole purpose of IQ is to see how well you would perform in a school environment, this means elementary school as well as university level. If you took the test over the internet, your score has little value. An IQ test should be taken in school. Since you are ten, I'm sure your elementary school already gave you an IQ test and have it on file.

No 99 isn't good.Although it's higher than mine! (But I took the test 1 year ago) and I'm 12 (almost 13) and as far as I know my IQ is 88.I'm going to take the test again!

It's a completely average IQ.
But - it's been regularly shown, that it's not how smart you are, but what you do with what you've got.
for instance- you could grow up to be President of the United States. (who has a similar IQ to you, but probably a very high EQ- emotional intelligence)

100 is an average IQ for any age - so 99 is just fractionally below average - nothing to worry about!

Question the validity of the test, if it was completed online I would ignore it, most are not regulated and of course you can cheat! If you really want a representative value of your IQ, try your nearest MENSA testing facility - www.mensa.com

relies upon on the widely used of the attempt. i have taken checks and characteristic scored everywhere from ninety 3 to 153. i'm certain my IQ is someplace in that variety. LOL. besides, in the experience that your IQ fairly is one hundred and forty, then congratulations. you're highly smart, with good reasoning purposes. teach your score on your college counselor, and also you'd be qualified to take "speeded up," "academically enriched," and "gifted" classes.
