Can you believe people will actually kill their own newborn babies!!????!!! I would sooner support Bush to invade India to save new born babies than stay in Iraq!
this should be the new cause of all Christians - or anyone with any since of justice and compassion for life - we must stop infants from being burried alive!!!!!!!!!!!

If you read the article is not just abortions - it is hundreds of thousands of babies being killed after being born - the most common method is putting them in a pot and burying them alive!!! One was found 16 hours later still alive - only because it was rocky soil with a small air pocket!
It is not a question of adoption either as they are just simply killed!!!!!!!!!!
As for the war comment - I never thought any war was justified but a war to save kids from being killed is the only one I would ever sign up to fight! No border dispute or avenging a leader killed is worth the blood shed, but when a culture exists that kills its own young - they need to be killed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ten million girls have been killed by their parents in India in the past 20 years, either before they were born or immediately after, a government minister said on Thursday, describing it as a "national crisis".
The practice of killing the girl child is more prevalent among the educated, including in upmarket districts of New Delhi, making it more challenging for the government, the minister said.
That is amazing that the killing of infants is more prevalent among the educated!!!

Hey Clayton I really can't believe that people are burying there innocent little babies that can't even defend them selves. I truly beleive that they should be put to death. But I beleive that taking one life will not bring back another. So I think they should serve a life sentence in prison and go to therapy every day. I also beleive that if you are young you do not understand and try to find a way to get rid of your newborn child. I can't blame them fully for not knowing what to do. But they still could have taken the baby to someone who was able to take care of them. So they should still serve a sentence. I do not in any way support the use of infanticide but there is a long history that may help you understand a bit .

In cultures where different value is placed on male and female children, sex-selective infanticide may be practiced simply to increase the proportion of children of the preferred sex, usually male. In times of famine or cases of extreme poverty, parents may have to choose which of their children will live and which will starve.

I know this appalls you as it does me, but this is not the only country. China has had issues with this for years. There are orphanages over there with girls who were abandoned and they are nothing but skin and bones and can barely walk. There are atrocities in every country. Wanting to send them all here is not the answer. It will not fix the problem and will create a new one here. I think we need to clean up our own back yard (homeless, starving, medical coverage, etc. ) before we work on someone else's.

it is their religion or they just don't want the child, can't care for it, or just don't what that gender. if i had the money, i would go to India, get the babies that are under the ground and open up an orphanage in the US so the babies have a second chance at life.

man that is sick...well not that I agree with war, I don't even agree with the war in Iraq right now, but I do believe there should be some extra reach out program with shipping their babies to the u.s before killing them. what the heck, why not economically support more outsiders..what the hey

Yes, great idea. Let's invade every country whose practives we don't agree with! Not saying it's right, but they have their own damn army and police force; let them handle their problems. And here's a heads up, sweetheart, people do that here too. Lots of them! They find newborns dumped in trash cans and dumpsters every day. What's your solution to that?

its soo unbelievable! Allahuakbar. i always wonder then why do they have to take the pain of 9months and the end of the child is in the grave, these people are too cruel! i truly support you!~ this world today is geting too cruel not considering human rights but just cruelty and bruelty! and bloodsheds! thAts what we live in today! tihis world isnt peaceful but tooo destructive with it beings!
