iTunes. You can buy them for usually $1.99 and own the shows, or even subscribe to the shows and never miss them. They even have older seasons and shows long gone from TV as well, and unaired pilots and whatnot.

depending on which show it is, go to the show's broadcast channel's web site...like cbs.com or abc.com or tbs.com and you will be able to find some complete shows that have already run...but i have yet to find any fox's shows on line like the simpsons or family guy

if it is things like sex in the city.. and sopranos..
but abc and nbc.. have a website that you can just watch it when you want.
