I have heard that the molecules are too long to synthesize, when science masters the art of DNA they will put virus at the job of creating molecules of all sizes and uses for us.

The first question would be which snake's venom would you want to make? They are all a little different.

Venom is a protein, similar to saliva. It is not just a mix of chemicals- there are long chains of amino acids, etc. that are just incredibly tough to replicate in the lab.

Think of it this way- there is not much structural difference between venom and meat. Replicating meat would be wonderfully profitable if we could do it- but we can't. It is just too complex for our current technology.
