The side of my 97 Pathfinder was scratched by a metal 'guard arm' as I drove into a gated community. The scratch in the glass is rather deep. Is there a way to remove or have it be less noticable?

Some auto glass places have a polish that will remove small scratches but if its deep you may have to replace it.Try going to the glass shop and see what they say.

If it's more than a light scrape, it's going to be a complete sod to remove. Best solution may be a secondhand window from a breakers or Ebay.

They make a filler that is supposed to make the scratch unnoticeable, probably Walmart, or a parts store.
