Spitters are quitters. Women who spit instead of swallow are shallow, selfish, lazy, uncaring creatures, undeserving of love.

I have never seen a woman spit while on the street, as they usually have more class than the men, and are more polite.
I do see some men do it and do not appreciate it. I also think that spitting in public is pretty disgusting. You have to imagine the next person who has to walk where you spit or decides to step on or sit down on the grass where you just hurled a ball of phlegm. You can carry a hankerchief or tissue with you and when you feel the need, spit into that instead.
There are always exceptions, of course. If someone was walking down the street and a bug flew in their mouths, I would not fault them for trying to spit it out. It's just the ones that make these long throat-clearing sounds followed by an effort to see just how far they can spit it out that really should think about other people.
I would not intentionally vomit or urinate while walking down a sidewalk filled with people. Why would you intentionally toss any other bodily fluid into a public area?

If they think this is cool then they're nasty!!! Just think, people spitting all on the street, someone else walking in the spit then walking in their house, where kids like to play in the floor. Real nasty people. Use a spit cup like the people who chew tobacco. People do a whole lot of nasty stuff and a regular basis.

They do get fined in Pittsburgh. It's considered littering. I think it's nearly as bad as urinating in the street. It's really disgusting.

in wisconsin you can get a fine for spitting. it is against the law, but most officers dont enforce it.

kerala is already gonna impose a fine (its in India, by the way)
