You don't get anything because you just happened to side with the opinion that might end up being right. Even if the US does end up retreating from Iraq, that doesn't mean you knew anything. The fact is that we needed a victory there 3 years ago, and that has eluded us due in part to liberal naysayers who clipped us from behind. It's easy to stand back and constantly criticize and undercut those who are heroicly trying to accomplish something, and easier still to then say I told you so if they fail. However, people that do so are the scum of the Earth, and don't deserve the right to say anything as they contribute nothing.
You and your ilk have contributed to the enemy and made it harder for the US to win there. The editors of the Economist get it and they're certainly not fans of President Bush. Why doesn't everyone else?

Yes, as a military wife, I voted for Bush. He got us pay-raises, better housing and more. Yup, our boys are dying over there, and my sweetie is leaving in April to be there. But guess what? His Chances of being killed over there fighting, are less than his chances of getting hit by a drunk-driver here.
I do not support the reasons for this War. But no matter what happens, I will support our troops.
You know soldiers get spit on and called baby-killers for doing their duty. For keeping our country Safe.
They're over there fighting, "protecting our freedom" like so many before them, and your stupid self wants an award. No wonder you've lost for your beliefs.
Our country is a democracy. If you don't like the end results of that. Take your self somewhere else.

Need a job? The economy is BOOMING here - we have stores and restaurants close periodically due to lack of employees.
But no, I don't think you get an award for this. It's not school, where you get an award just for filling space.

So who cares who is right & who is wrong, I support our troops & think that is what we should focus on. The war is scary & I wonder how we will ever get out of it. But we are in it now, & we need to be supportive. I voted for Bush cuz John Kerry scares the hell out of me. If he was in would we be in a big mess, who knows, you can't be right when you don't know the results of the other decisions would have lead you to.

yeah isn't it interesting that now they're saying oh look, there was an insurgency, they're fighting, we're stuck there, it's lasted for years, what a surprise... but we've been saying all along that it would turn out this way. but you remember the administration's response to the protests... "I don't care what you think."

Of course not. You get what I get, which is people saying "yeah right, we ALL believed there were weapons of mass destruction" No one believed me when i was saying it back then, and they dont believe that I was saying it back then.
