The business we run now is not what we want to do. Something new my husband is into cars, sports and I am up for anything. We need a change. We need to be the man instead of work for the man.

Don't listen to anyone on this. Do your own due diligence through proper R&D (research and development). Here are some books on amazon.com you can purchase new or used to assist you in selecting the business that will work for you. Remember you need to select a business that is fun to do and that doesn't seem like it is work. It should be something you would do for no pay. Good luck!

Think of all your interests & ask yourself if any of those could be expanded into a business. Just keep in mind...what's your expertise? What are your interests? What could you imagine yourself doing?

By researching the prospect of starting your own business -- what it entails, what you need to know, helpful hints, etc -- you'll feel better prepared to take that plunge.

I found some book titles that are relevant to your specific question:

MTake a look at this web site, www.iolair.acnrep.com it will give you an overview of a business you can run alongside what you do now. It is home based and most people start off in it part time until their earnings reach a level when they can go full time. This business has recently been endorsed by the billionaire Donald Trump and the turnover of the company behind it is growing at something like 45% per year. My back ground has been at Director level with two companies but now I just work very happily from home building my own operation.

I have a home business in the health and wellness industry that is doing very well. Because this product has both medical and scientific validation, and is helping so many people, businesses are really taking off.
It's inexpensive to get started, under $200 US, and you can be earning an income right away. All the training and tools are in place to help you succeed as quickly as possible. The compensation plan is second to none, no other offers the bonuses provided by this company.
This is something you could build and start earning residual income to give you the money and the freedom to pursue your dreams.

Anything for kids. A playcenter just opened up near where I live and it is very busy. Not a daycare but a place where parents take their kids to run and play. The parents stay and the kids run off some energy. You can have a theme to it as well.

It depends on what your're interested in. You need to make a list of your interests and things you definitely are not interested in and go from there. Are you looking for a store front business or online business?
