First off, I LOVE Heroes! I am totally addicted!!! But there are a few things I don't undertand.
1. If Peter's ability is to mimic other people's abilities, why didn't he heal himself when he was sick in the jail with Claire?
Is he sick because of an overload of too many powers?
2. Is Matt Parkman's ability to read minds causing perm damage? (he gets headaches and nose bleed's) Why are Matt and Peter's health affected by the abilities?
3. If Sylar was able to use his abilities to pull Eden through the glass, why didn't he use his abilities to escape?
It seems like the Haitian would have to be near Sylar 24/7 to keep Sylar from using his abilities to escape, but why wasn't the Haitian there when Sylar attacked Eden? Granted the Haitian can't be there 24/7, what keeps Sylar from escaping when the Haitian is not there? Sylar has a lot of abilities, what is keeping him from escaping?

First off, I LOVE Heroes! I am totally addicted!!! But there are a few things I don't undertand.
1. If Peter's ability is to mimic other people's abilities, why didn't he heal himself when he was sick in the jail with Claire?

You mean why he collapsed outside the prison with Nathan? He wasn't sick. He healed himself long before he went to prison. The reason why he collapsed is vague at this moment but I think it's something to do with him getting a vision of him exploding. I mean if I was in his position then I'd probably collapse as well.

2. Is Matt Parkman's ability to read minds causing perm damage? (he gets headaches and nose bleed's) Why are Matt and Peter's health affected by the abilities?
nope! he only gets headaches because as you might remember during the grocery shop, all the thoughts of people are going thru his head and so he gets dizzy. about the nosebleed, i think this only happens when he is trying hard to read the mind of other people with whom he can't possibly penetrate like the haitian. Peter and Matt's health aren't affected by the abilities. The reason they got a headache was because of audio feedback-they sudden ability to hear each other's thoughts.

3. If Sylar was able to use his abilities to pull Eden through the glass, why didn't he use his abilities to escape?
I think he didn't try to escape at first because he wants to acquire eden's power because with eden's power then he probably would become unstoppable.

however, i have a question too. peter can mimic other people's abilities right so he probably should be toe on toe to sylar won't it?

1. Peter's sickness is linked to his power. He is being held in relative proximity to "Radioactive Man" and is pulling in his ability.

2. Matt's original headaches were due to the overload of stray thoughts around him and lack of control over his power. The latest headaches and nose bleeds are due to strain, trying to dig deep into someone's thoughts.

3. Sylar was kept in the cell by the Haitian blocking his powers. If you remember, when Eden came in to "kill" Sylar, she was alone. The Haitian was off talking to Claire. Sylar has escaped and is now on the loose.

1. Peters ability is to mimic...in other words copy...copies are never as good as the original...so he probably had serious damage that wasn't totally fixed when he borrowed Claire's abiity.

2. I think that Matts ability was affected by whatever Claires father and the Haitian did to him.

3. Good question, the enclosure Skylar was in was supposed to prevent the use of his powers, so I'm not sure why he was able to pull Eden through the glass

I have no clue either (and I would have thought Eden would have told Sylar "leave me alone") :)

But that show is great. Now I can tell people that there is actually a show on that makes me want to watch TV!!!

1. The Hatitian was there with Claire's dad. He blocked it.
2. It's just too much for Matt or Peter to handle right now. He hasn't learned to control it properly
3. We haven't seen how he was kept from leaving yet. Maybe he has his own agenda for sticking around. Maybe he wants another chance at Claire. Maybe it can't really hold him, but he wants them to think it can.
