There is nothing wrong with continuing to nurse her to sleep if that works for you.

If not, then you need to make some other sleep associations. Maybe get a little blanket or stuffed animal and offer it to her WHILE you are nursing to sleep for a while. Then gradually begin to phase out the nursing and replace it with a cuddle and the "lovey" you've introduced.

You could try making Daddy responsible for bedtime.

Make sure you have a bedtime routine. Bath, PJ's, brush teeth, stories and cuddles, etc. Try rubbing her back or her feet. Sing to her. Wear clothing that restricts her access to your body.

I weaned my daughter at 15 months also. She would constantly try to nurse all night (she co-slept). What I did was put her in her own crib in her room (finally!). I just stopped all together. I had made up my mind that it was going to be the last time and put her in her crib. She cried for about 15 mins while I read her a story until she fell asleep. I thought it was going to last a lot longer but only about 15 mins. Everynight got easier and easier. Also when she would cry in the middle of the night I never went in I did once and it seemed to make it worse. She falls back to sleept in like 3 mins. Good Luck!!!

First, you have to decide within yourself that this is it, it is okay, you are stopping, no guilt. Then you have to live with a few nights of difficulty working into a new pattern. You should start a routine that you do every night, like a 5 minute ritual you can live with. Ex. brush teeth, put on jammies, do 5 little piggies, then read a quick story. Then hold her until she goes to sleep, or put her in the crib, or lay down with her. Whatever you want to do from now on. After a few days she will learn to replace nursing with this new routine. The key is your decision and resolve that this is it.

How about giving her a blankie (like small stuffed animal) for her to cuddle). She might get distracted and fall asleep. But of course this has to be done gradually.

Give her a binky. Babies use sucking to soothe themselves to sleep.
