I don't agree. I think just as many Hollywood couples believe in God as couples outside Hollywood. I think Hollywood marriages don't last for a variety of reasons: They have a lot more temptation in the form of money and other partners. They work long hours and often have to be away from home for months at a time. They are often ripped apart and gossiped about by the media.

Maybe Hollywood Marriages dont last because every single action of these peoples private lives are open to the public in the news and magazines. How would you like to never have any form of privacy? Also think about the fact many of them are either on tour or on movie sets far away from their spouses/children for months at a time that cant be good for any marriage hollywood or not

I think Hollywood marriages don't work because it's all about their own career goals. The business is not set up for married couples The only married Hollywood couples who do stay together for more than 3 years, are the ones who decide to spend time together who actually support each-other. Reese witherspoon and her husband Ryan were together along time. He supported her while she became legally blond and as soon as it was his turn he went far off with out her to do a movie and cheated on her. They don't put their marriage first. When you put your marriage first God is always the base.

I think that Hollywood marriages don't last because people in Hollywood have demanding schedules and often have to go on location to shoot movies for several months at a time. There is also the extra stress brought on by being famous (dealing with the paparazzi) for example. I don't think that "god" has anything to do with it. My husband and I are agnostic and we have a great marriage.

So, are you saying, any marriage of people who do not worship God is doomed???
Open up your mind! A billion people out there have different beliefs, and that does not mean that they would not be able to maintain a marriage...being constantly in the public eye, traveling a lot, not having a lot of time for each other and spending months on end with other people (while shooting a movie), I would say, those are more realistic reasons for those marriages to fail. Besides, I feel a lot of 'normal' marriages have that same problem with money issues...problems because of that...and weather those people worship god or not has nothing to do with their problems in that regard...

I think most marriages are based on roughly the same thing, the search for companionship. As hard as it to believe, Hollywood people are still "people", with roughly the same needs and desires as the rest of us. I'm not Hollywood, but my marriage has nothing to do with god or money. It has to do with forging a lasting partnership.

Not only Hollywood marriages do not last nobody's marriage last anymore. I do not think it is all about money it has more to do about temptation and the moral issues. People now a days find it normal to cheat on your spouse and not think anything of it. There excuses are well they were not a good enough spouse. It has to do with sex it is more about sex then anything else. It use to be only soap operas had all the drama and all the cheating now it is reality. Now soap operas have turned more into a fairy tale show.

Marriages can last without being "based on god". Both me & my boyfriend are agnostic, but we're completely content and plan to get married. Marriage is based on LOVE. Although I don't believe in divorce, people in hollywood seem to get a bit carried away with where they go in their relationships. Plus, there's always paparazzi out there trying to ruin them. Yeah, money is probably a factor, too.

I don't think they last because they are not based on God. They don't last because they are not based on true love and honesty. If your spouse was in a movie with a drop dead gorgeous member of the opposite sex, having to do an intimate scene, wouldn't thoughts cross your mind?? I doubt it's all about the money either but sometimes it could be.
