I'd leave your hair the colour it is, I've got mousy hair and, along with a lot of girls I know, would give anything to have red-brown hair!! If you don't like it, go for a really deep, rich chocolate brown (but get it dyed professionally). As for haircuts, I've got a very long oval face and it's easy to go wrong - but I've got a great cut at the moment: get it cut and layered normally so that the shortest layers end just underneath your chin (no shorter as it makes your face look longer). Then get a side parting and ask for a block side fringe. This is great because it means your hair still looks good tied up, which isn't always the case with a normal side fringe. I straighten my hair and flick the ends out when I'm going out and it looks great! If in doubt, ask your hairdresser to suggest some styles that would suit your face shape. Things I would say are a definite no for an oval face are short layers and centre partings though.

Is Vidal Sassoon still around? Your hair might look nice in a geometric style: one length, 1 1/2" below your chin but long enough to hook behind your ears in case you want that ... hopefully it will show off your pale skin and beautiful eyes ... there is nothing like dark hair to do that ... thank your lucky stars and buy a beautiful blue tweed suit and some lovely silk shell blouses with a U-neck to show off some pearls .... and do not wear too much make up ... look as though you just came off the heath....and wear a bit of lovely perfume... Do not monkey around with your hair. Chemically treated hair is a nuisance. If your hair looks drab its natural color, rather than change the color, work with a protein conditioner or something like that.... it can make a dramatic difference and does not damage your hair.
Cheers!

I suggest some highlights also and I think a nice bob would look cool, if that is too short then go for an all over layered look. If you get some highlights (lighter, not blonde) it will make you feel quite different without going too drastic. Some new way of doing make up and new underwear and you will feel like you've had a great makeover : )

Go back to your original hair color and try something with wispy bangs. I tried bangs after years and years of not having them and they took so much weight off my face! You don't have to do something dramatic, just something that makes a difference.

why not try adding choc brown highlight to your hair, and maybe a feather cut would soften your features and empahsise your green eyes.
