I am taking an accounting class and need to know if accounts recievable are considered fees earned. Technically, I would say yes but due to the fact that accounts recievable may not be paid as soon as the service is rendered I am in question. Someone help.

Accounts recieved when realized is called Fees earned. As long as it is not realized it remains Accounts Receivable. It is assumed that the company is in Service industry.
