i have trouble getting it to start up correctly, a ton of little pop-ups come up, and then no programs will start. is there a way to get the virus scan to start in another way?

ok..first off do u have a antivirus and spyware program
if so...unplug pcfrom internet
restart pc
as soon as u turn it on....tap 8 until u see safe mode
u will see 5 or 6 options
use arrows on keyboard..scroll up to SAFE MODE
click enter 2 times...u will see alot of words and numbers for a sec
then u will see
log on as....user
now u will see ur desktop
lets do this first
go to start..run...type in ...msconfig..pressok
in new window..(system configuration)
click the start up tab on top right
u will now see a list with alot of check marks....click
disable all..press apply..press ok...exit without restart
now go to start..run..type in ...%temp%..press ok
in new windows u will see temp files
go to edit in top left corner..select all..press delete on keyboard
yes..delete all
now go to start..run..type in ....temp
do the same exact thing...delete all
now go to start...run..type in ..prefetch
do same exact thing...delete alell
now that that is finished do this
go to start..all programs..accessories..system tools..disc clean up...let it analyze c-drive..when it is finished...it will show u a list of things to clean...select all boxes..press ok...it will disappear when it is finished
now go to start..control panel...folder options..view...about half way down..u will see..SHOW ALL HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS...check it..presss apply..press ok
if u do not see folder options....look on left hand side..do u see ...switch to classic view..select that...now u should see..folder options
now open ur antivirus...run full system scan...quarrantine whatever it finds
open spyware program..run full scan..quaraantine whatever it finds
now plug pc into internet
restart pc....
u will see a alert from system config...check the little box..press ok
now whatever your antivirus and spyware program detected...look them up on google...or...post back with the names of threats
one last thing...go back to ..start..control panel..folder options..view..select...RESET TO DEFAULT..press apply..press ok

Hit F8 during boot to get into Safe Mode. You can also download SpywareBlaster (www.javacoolsoftware.com). Install, download latest updates, and enable all protection. That'll keep the popups at bay long enough for you to run antivirus and antispyware scans.

This isn't a virus, this is spyware. Get Ad-Aware and SpyBot, download, install and update both of them. Then run them. Immunize the computer in SpyBot first. Then when you run Ad-Aware, run a full system scan. Thereafter you can run a Smart Scan.

The virus you have has over rode your PC.This link will remove it.I had one just like it got it from myspace,It is a 30 day trial.I had Norton,mcafee,avg spy ware doctor and noting detected it.Do not click on the alerts only adds more crap.This will get it gone

i exploit McAfee and AVG for Virus detection. i've got used Spybot on dissimilar computers over the years. i attempted working it in this gadget which i've got achieved quite a few circumstances - does not run so tried to acquire the latest version and AVG gave me a popup alert to eliminate it.
