The tube xD the tube doesn't go from London to Manchester.

Anyway, I'd recomend either Virgin trains or Midland Mainline. Your journery starts at Manchester Piccadilly and ends at Euston (Virgin) or St. Pancras (Midland Mainline).

No the tube system on runs through london and surrounding areas. You can get a train from Manchester directly to London or you can also get a coach direct but the coach can take upto six hours whereas the train takes just over two or you can fly from Manchester to Heathrow. If you want train timetables and prices go to this website www.nationalrailtimetables.co.uk

Virgin trains from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly. The tube doesn't go that far. Alternatively flights to Manchester are from Heathrow, Stansted, Luton and London City airports. Flying is probablt cheaper than the train believe it or not.

Get the train from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly, it took me 2hrs and 10 minutes last week.

Get to the train early and get a table seat, they have plug sockets so you can attach your laptop/dvd player or charge your phone. They only have sockets on the table seats and there are only 2 sockets per 4 seats so hurry to that train!

A word of warning though make sure your plug works before you set up, unpacking everything and finding the socket doesn't work is not cool, and has happened to me once...

No, the tube doesn't go to London from Manchester, but National Express buses do, trains do, and there is also an airport.

Say, bud, can I get the subway from New York to Philadelphia?
