How rude can you get????????

There is this guy in the office who interupts working conversations between myself and my co-worker, when we tell him he is being rude his reply is, I know Im being rude, like, what else can we do to let him know that it is rude to interupt.

This guy is trying to intimidate you, it's not rudeness, this is a form of bullying. He wants to show that he has power (he interrupts and distresses you) and you have none ( you tell him to stop and he mocks you),

Here are a couple of ways of dealing with this

Start your conversation, when he interrupts stop, both turn and stare at him saying absolutely nothing.

Start your conversation, when he interrupts shout very loudly so everyone can hear 'what did you say, how dare you say that', meanwhile your co-worker starts hysterically chanting over and over ' I Can't believe he said that, I can't believe he said that'. If anyone asks what he said just say it's too embarrassing to repeat and warn all the ladies to stay away from him.

Start your conversation, when he interrupts start laughing at him, every time he says anything laugh harder. If he starts laughing stop immediately and look serious, make it clear that you are laughing at and not with him.

Get with your co-workers and make a plan. For example: the next time this happens, don't say a word to him...act like he doesn't exist...just keep talking to each other like he's a ghost. If you have to, just walk away. You might even want to do that around the office anyway...avoid any type of contact, as possible, with this person period...I mean, don't even say good morning or good night.

Just maybe, he'll start to understand what rude means and what the affects of being rude can be!

I can top that. We have a girl here who helps herself to the food you are eating w/o asking if she can. She also sits and talks about how the "Beckys" take all the good men. She yells at her son over the phone. One day, she showed up in a tube top (all 250+ pounds of her).

When he interupts, ignore him. Or, do like I do. Look at him & when he finishs, return to your conversation with "As I was saying".

step 1.) go to the nearest kitchen supply store and but a good, heavy, cast iron frying pan

step 2.) the next time this happens, smash this pan into his face as hard as you can, like you're swinging a tennis racket

step 3.) when you are done laughing hysterically, resume your previous conversation

I have cursed a coworker out before, customers and other coworkers complained how rude she was and no one had the gumption to stand up to her. After that, she did a 360.

When he interrupts you and your co-worker simply go on talking and IGNORE him, he will feel stupid for just standing there - he is obviously trying to get a rise out of you two so if you ignore him he will give up....

People like that do what they do for attention. They want attention wether it is negative or positive. So I bet if you ignore him he will move on down the road.

Ignore him everytime he does it and then when you see him conversng with someone, interrupt their conversation everytime. Give him a taste of his own medicine.

don't pay any attention when he TRIES to interrupt. Or just start walking away when you see him coming. continue your conversation. you can't control him, but you can control your own actions. man, I want some pizza.
