+ "How do you bring about world peace?"
+ "What is the best way to make friends of enemies?"

Now, here are questions 'war' is the answer to:

+ "What can two groups that live in the same country, look pretty much the same but worship different gods and speak different languages at least agree on?"
+ "What is the best way man-made way of decreasing the surplus human population?"
+ "What is always on going and always trying to be stopped all because of human nature?"
+ "What brings about the most technological and medical advances in the shortest amount of time?"
+ "What is good for absolutely nothing?"

"War is not the answer" is a line from a Marvin Gaye song for peace called "What's Goin' On?"

The line goes like this - - - "war is not the answer, for only love can conquer hate." The implied question is "What can conquer hate?"

ok this is just a viewpoint, if you equate war to death, you could possibly see that war is the answer, in the sense that death is the ultimate answer.
however i dont believe that war is an answer for anything because its a complete waste of mother earth, nature, beauty , and life.

another viewpoint would say that death and life, good and bad, everything, is all equal, so its all just light.

War never solved anything - EXCEPT:

Communism (Fall of the Soviet Empire)

Fascism (Fall of Hitler and Japan)

Terrorism (Bye-bye, Daddy Saddam and his boys!)
