I finished my High School back in the Philippines, and now I'm spending my College here in the U.S. The only awkward thing is I'm four years younger than others because back in the Phil., we don't have middle schools. Does that weird out other people in my school? And I'm petite so it's kind of obvious that I'm younger.

being younger or older doesnt make any difference in making friends...a friend is anyone whom you are comfortable being with, are at ease with, can talk to, share your thoughts and feelings with, be it older or younger....so be happy, mix around with people and make lots of friends!

By the time people are in college, age is not so important any more.
You should be able to make friends with ease...

be a tutor if you are a lot smarter or hire one if you need help. Either way you get to meet someone and build a friendship. They will be your key to other things and more friends.

Don't rush it. you are there to get an education and you can make friends anytime.
