Will he be unhappy when he's playing in front of empty stadiums in a country that's apathetic towards soccer?

Or will he still believe that he's helping grow a sport and that it would take a longer time than he originally thought?

I think David Beckham has a whole different side that people may disregard. Sure, the money may be a big reason, but I think there is a whole different side of him that's really aiming to make soccer more known here in the US.

He will not be miserable
I think he will like it, coming from an american myself
He wanted to see how Americans would react toward him
It will be a new experience for the Englishman himself as well as Americans having a soon to be legend in thier country

Nobody cares but he hand full of soccer fans barely keeping the MLS in business.

He is not going to attract new fans to a game that does not interest 99.0% of it's population.

He could go back the next day and it would be no big deal.

I sure hope he's unhappy. He made the english team crap for ages, got sent off in vital games, missed vital penalties. And has been occupying & fuelling the major part of the bile mindless entertainment industry that's been poisoning our minds for years now.
