hey..... what is the diffrence between thecno and trance...??? which one is better....?

present day Techno is a more repttitive form of electronic music, based mainly on a stedy beat (4/4 usually), where the main "interest" in the track are the different sounds or samples used, rather than the melody itself.
Trance is much more melodic and psychedelic, and the track itself "prgresses" through different melodies, ups and downs.
These genres are also characterized by common samples and instruments used. It's obviously hard to describe music through words, so i'm listing under sources a few classic names u can check out and listen to.
Also, the Trance scene is usually characterized as more psychdelic and spiritual, while the Techno scene is charecterized as serious and minimalistic.
There is no "better" genre... it's like asking which's better - rock or pop.

i love techno mix of i turn to you by Melanie C (Incredible sound)
Buy also trance is good like trance 3 and 5 (albums) but you know getting a bit boring i prefer indie rock

I like Trance better, it has a little more soothing rythm at times, hence the name Trance, it sort of puts you in a trance.. or at least it has that effect on me lol.

But i'd rock with Techno AND Trance any day of the week :)

I like trance better. Its more smooth and futuristic sounding. Techno just has a same repeating beat that gets anoying after a while. I still listen to both though.
