I need to mail a sheet of paper priority mail and the USPS asked how many ounces it would be. Could it be under an ounce?
2 ounces = $4.05

Doesn't USPS have a weighing machine?
I depends on the thickness of the paper. I have mailed letters comprising a single sheet of paper in a size 10 envelope (4 1/8" x 9 1/2") and they have always been far less than one ounce.
Don't forget the weight includes the envelope and the contents.
Also remember they charge extra for odd-size or large size envelopes.
Look at www.usps.com for details.

Yes! There are 16 ounces in a pound so I am guessing that your paper is standard. Is 16 pieces of your paper heavier than a can of tomatoes? This isn't an exact measurement but you get the picture.
