Why is this suddenly an issue again? We know that some of the press coverage of Hilsborourgh and some of the photographs printed in a lot of the press afterwards was intrusive and in really bad taste. We also know that when watching it unfold none of us really knew at the time how bad it actually was. Even those at the game didn't know.
However McKenzie did say this to a Commons Select Committee in 1993:
"I regret Hillsborough. It was a fundamental mistake. The mistake was I believed what an MP said. It was a Tory MP. If he had not said it and the chief superintendent (David Duckenfield) had not agreed with it, we would not have gone with it."
Isn't "regret" and "fundamental mistake" the same as an apology?
I don't understand why this is suddenly an issue again. The press coverage of this was terrible, but there have been a lot of equally bad taste reporting in the press since then.
If it's been fuelled by Wayne Rooney then surely he can sell his story to whomever he chooses. He was afterall only 3 years old at the time all this happened.

I in reality ought to take challenge with 7: 'it expenses you not some aspect to change'. authentic football supporters (truly from decrease again contained interior the day earlier stupid parts of money ruined the actual spirit of the game) save on with their golf kit. replacing golf kit is amazingly actual not an decision - to attain this betrays each and each aspect being a real supporter believes in. you'll get stuck with a club because your father supported them, or because they were your community club at the same time as transforming into to be up, or regardless of, yet once you're affiliated you do not replace. Oh P.S. the in elementary words way that you're 40 2 years previous is that once you're a canines. i'm making a tremendous gamble 14 optimal. once you're actual 40 2 human years previous, then it could be staggering to have an IQ the very similar as your age.

If he's got proof then no he shouldn't shut up... if he hasn't, then he should more then apologise , perhaps donate money to the dead people's relatives.
