All even numbers are divisible by 2.
All numbers the last 2 digits of which are divisible by 4 are divisible by 4.
All numbers ending in 5 or 0 are divisible by 5.
All numbers ending in 0 are divisible y 10.
All numbers the sum of the digits of which is divisible by 3,6,9 are divisible respectively by 3,6,9.
Etc.
1. 48 is divisible by 4 (48/4=12)
2. 46 is not divisible by 4.
3. 63 is divisible by 7 (63/9=7). You can see that 6+3=9, 63/9=7, then 63 is divisible by 7.
4. 122 is not divisible by 6 (1+2+2=5 not 3, not 6. But 120 is, 1+2+0=3, 120/3=40, 40/2=20, 120/(3 x2)=20=120/6)
5. 42 is divisible by 6 (4+2=6)
6. 88 is divisible by 11 (88/11=8).
