Can a Nintendo DS Lite double as a PDA?

I've heard of a software package called DSOrganize, but I would have no clue how to install that on a DS. Has Nintendo come out with any organization cartridges for the DS? I really want a DS system, but I would be completely sold on it if I knew it was more than just a game system.

Hey, I just found out from the Nintendo website that a game called Organizer Plus has been announced from Summitsoft.
