My computer is infected with this virus, it had installed some files(I removed them) & there's a blinking icon beside the clock on system tray that pops up a "system alert" periodically & by clicking on it, takes you to the site anti-vermins.com. Sympoms are the same with the "anti vermins" virus, but I tried the directions in this site: http://www.nosnoopware.com/spyware/remove/antivermins.htm there's nothing like that in my registery or even program files.

Help me please. Thanks in advance.

To remove the Antivermins pest, follow the procedure in the article "How To Remove Antivermins (removal Instructions"): which is at this link:

Your computer has a serious infection called Smitfraud, which most stand-alone, general-purpose virus scanners such as Norton and AVG cannot remove or even detect.

Try the above procedure using the specialised tool caled SmitfraudFix.

Good luck.

Try any of these:

Microsoft malicious software removal tool
AVG firewall
Outpost Firewall
Spybot
ccleaner

You'll have to search for them and download them. I personally recommend a search with Spybot and then a run with ccleaner

If you are not running a commerical-grade antispyware scanner regularly, you should seriously consider it. I use XoftspySE and have been very happy with its performance:

Good luck!
