No you're not being selfish at all. I have 3 children and I'm not happy about my breasts anymore. They used to be perky, firm and just the right size.....now on the otherhand after nursing three babies...I feel so insecure about them. They are almost like deflated balloons. They seem to have shrunk too. I've been seriously thinking about getting implants too. I would do it for yourself...nobody else. IF that's what would make you happy then go for it! It's very nice that your husband is concerned for you but I think breast implants are VERY common these days. I'm not sure if how risky it is. Several of my friends have them and I am jealous. You need to be happy about your body image and of course unfortunately today there's a lot of pressure to look good as a woman. I wish is wasn't that way but we have to face that it is. Good luck in your decision!

No, I don't think you are being selfish. It is a much better reason to have breast augmentation because you want it than because your husband wants it. Tell him exactly how and why you feel the way you do and I'll bet he'll understand.

I say if it is going to make you happy then go for it..But you need to tell your husband that this is just something that will make you feel better about yourself..make sure you go to a board certified plastic surgeon though and do as much research as you can before you find one..
But if your husband is totally against it then wait a while because if you do it with out his blessing then that might bring up a hole other problem.

If you are serious about this you need to tell your husband, " Hey hon, I really want to look into this, what if you and I talked to some doctors and we sat down with them and you and I both asked questions, and we both can be more informed about what this all entails". That way he feels that he is included in this and that you both are getting the same information. Check several doctors first before you make a decision. You cannot be over informed when it comes to this, so you need to look at all the information, good and bad. Good Luck

If your husband likes you the way you are, why take the risk. What if something goes wrong and you are disfigured for life. You don't need to impress anyone else. If the person that loves more than anyone else in the world is happy with you, don't change. Consider yourself very lucky.

Here's a simple answer: do it if it makes you feel better and it won't strain your relationship with your husband. I know if my wife wanted to get it done, I wouldn't really care, BUT, it is a lot of money. I'd just weigh the benefits to the costs (and not just financial costs either). I hope this helps and good luck.

No, your breasts are not just for him. They are tied to your self esteem just like the size of his... is tied to his self esteem. If you want them so you'll feel better about yourself than explain it to him that way. Then go out and get them. Just research the problems and make sure you get a great doctor. I'm sure you get what you pay for in that area.

Breast augmentation surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

I think that there is something to be said about liking yourself just the way that you are. I know in this society there is a tendancy to go and "fix" everything that you dont like but at the same time, you want to be accepted for who you are in every other way...you have to accept yourself in this way also. With that said, if you have your mind set on it, then I say discuss it further....
