just login ur account in yahoo messenger....create a avatar..or browse ur own picture there...

I did mine through yahoo mail where it might have a blank photo like you do now, click on it and it'll take you to avatars and how to make one easy.

use yahoo 360 to put a custom pic ... then use ur account .. click on the pic space and edit ur info ..
