This lass on here reckons that the first two suck out all the moisture from your mouth, making it impossible to eat the third one... can it be true?

Yes it is, but its not an enjoyable experience. When I was a psychology student we participated in an experiment based on the idea that extroverts salivate more and thus would be able to eat more cream crackers than the introverts. I think someone actually managed ten. Possibly the most pointless thing I've ever been asked to do in a lab.

i went to a fair where there was a competition to eat 3 crackers in 1 min. If you could do it you got £5 prize. It cost 50p to enter so thought i would have a go. Only managed 1 1/2 though. Probably can be done but its difficult.

The trick is not to chew too much or put too much cracker in your mouth at one time, otherwise you get all gummed up. We used to have regular cracker eating contests (amongst other ridiculous challenges) for charity at our motorcycle club. About 4-5 crackers in a minute usually won.

Yes. If you look in the Guinness World Records I think someone did it in under 30 seconds!! Try it out and see.

It would depend on how long you chewed them, and how much moisture you had in your mouth to begin with.
