When you answer questions on Y/A, do you select a category or just go with whatever is showing on the screen?

And do you ever click on the numbered blocks below the main page to visit questions from earlier. Our questions aren't exposed to answerers very long and consequently are often under-answered if you catch my drift.

Never select the category. I answer solely by surfing around.

I rarely click the numbered blocks below the main page, and yes, I catch your drift about how the questions kind of disappear after a few minutes.

I stay in the All Catagories because I like a variety of questions rather than a single focus. I also go through up to 15 or 20 pages of questions before starting back at page 1 again. Generally I answer for a while then go to vote unresolved questions then return to answering.

I enjoy scrolling through the p&s questions, then pick out the ones I want to answere, alot of good ones are missed, for they staying power is about 4 minutes, I never read through the answere's though till I put mine in, don't want to be infulenced by what others think they are asking, hardly ever ask questions, been known to get 1 or 2 answere's, sorta hurts my feeling, for some stange reason, when I see so many with up to 50 answere's, but good question

I like the entertainment category. And I always find myself in the Polls & Surveys subcategory. After I answer a few, I go down to the most recent and continue answering, just to make sure I'm one of the first people to answer the question.

Usually I just go with whatever's on the screen but I really like polls & surverys and music & entertainment. Seems like we're really having a dull day question-wise. No one seems to be answering my questions either. Maybe MY questions are dull, or just so esoteric that no one knows what in the heck I'm talking about. Maybe I dont know what in the heck I'm talking about!! Llama song, anyone?

I go by the category. Go though it answer questions on the first page then go to another category. When you go though more than one page in a category you tend to see the same questions.

Yah. I always go the Polls and Surveys route. Then if the questions on the top page are dull, I go to the previous pages. If they are dull, I log off.

I always click into the section I want...don't pay any attention to what comes up on home page....and yes I click into the numbered tabs

Sometimes. If you're really expert in one category, and wants to answer questions and be chosen as the best answer, then it's better to pick a category. Otherwise who cares.
