It depends WHO closed the door? If it was you, its time for a self assessment...why did you close the door? was it connected to fear? If so, move towards it, not away from it. If it was another person/event...do you still want whats behind the door? If yes, reclaim your power of choice.
Never wait...create
Why not have a few doors open at the same time...and allow opportunity to flow to you freely...then it doesn't need to knock.
OR take the doors off the hinges.....hehhehehe

You should wait for the second door due to two reasons.
Firstly because you do not know (or so I assume) their requirements and therefore won't know if you will be welcomed or not.
Assuming you know the requirements, you should still wait. For Door 1 can only accept a certain amount of entrances and the "others" or the ones not as qualified could be hunting for the second entrance, perhaps to a slightly different destination.
However, I do suggest turning around and seeing if there are doors behind you, as we tend to miss those out.
Alternatively, you can try knocking.

1) Why would you try to go through the first door if it was closed on you?
2) If a door was closed on you, remember that another door has been opened. We sometimes don't notice it because we are preoccupied else where.

What else are you going to do? Just sit there and do nothing? I mean, come on. If you don't go through the doors, you'll never make any progress. Being static is no way to live.

Don't be a quitter!
Trust me, I know what it feels like (what you describe) but as long as you get up in the morning and realize you can breathe and you can move, child, run with the wind!
Kick down that door if you have to, but never give up!

It doesn't matter whether you are welcome or not, it's what lessons you need to learn when that other door opens. Succeed there, and that door will close while another opens.
